i sit by the seashore

knowing not where to go

i write my name on the sand

and then watch it wash away

i see the sun rising

into a pearl white glow

i stand beside a river

with a bridge above my head

i see its shiny lights quiver

on the silent water bed

i lie beside a mountain

and try to touch the sky

i wish to run away somewhere far

from the world's lies

i wanna pace through the green fields

with a tear in my eye

i slow down to catch my breath

standing beside a young tree

this is how i want...
